Fall Statements: The Love List

1. Dannijo Palmer Necklace, $995

Founded by sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder, Dannjo jewelry is hand-made in New York and represents the strong powerful NY woman who isn’t afraid to stand out. The best part about this necklace is its versatility… pair it with a plain t-shirt or give your basic LBD some edge. I love this so much, I’d wear it grocery shopping, to get the mail, walk the dog… you get the point.

2. Little Rooms Victory Teeth Bracelet, $180

Los Angeles-based accessories line, Little Rooms, is a unique combination of hard and whimsical.  At an affordable price point, this line ranges from delicate pieces that look like vintage keyholes (her Cutting Room collection) to the more brash Cryptid collection (which this cuff is from) that is inspired by monster teeth and serpents. I own multiple pieces from her various lines and have given more as gifts and I can tell you that every design from Little Rooms is a conversation starter.

3. Kristen Farrell Wolverine Ring, Price upon request

NYC based jewelry designer Kristen Farrell specializes in making edgy, powerful and unique statement pieces. If you need to own only one statement piece in your life, this might be it.  Diamonds, gold, AND it looks like it came from sort of mythical creature? Yes, please!

4. Dannijo Tyler Earrings, $320

I love Dannijo so much that I couldn’t decide which piece I should include on this list, so you get two.  I’m constantly being told by friends that my jewelry taste trends towards pieces that look somewhat…. Shall we say, uh… violent? Ok, so I like big jewelry that is sometimes sharp, I don’t own any pink, and I never wear ruffles, I admit it. But that doesn’t mean I can’t love something that is also elegant. These earrings are a nod to that… they come in three color combinations and are perfect for the woman who is feminine, but not necessarily girly.

5. Zelia Horsley “In-Fringed” Bracelet, Available Soon

London based Horsley has created and produced pieces for giants such as Vivienne Westwood and Agent Provocateur, so it’s no surprise that her jewelry is sexy, with an architectural edge. This bracelet is from her new Spring 2012 collection and I’m hoping it magically makes its way into my jewelry box. If any one of you sees my boyfriend, let him know.
