What We Bought: Opening Ceremony Dress, Topshop Velvet and More (Forum Shopaholics)

Once the sales really kick into high gear (and by high gear I mean deep discounts) forum shopaholics have no qualms about whipping out their wallets and doing what they do best. It was tough to narrow down all the great buys from the past week, but here are some of the latest highlights in forum retail therapy.

POCKETKITTEN zeroed in on Marc by Marc Jacobs items in the Net-a-Porter online sale. Above is one of the two bags that POCKETKITTEN picked up.

Mistress_f took advantage of sale prices to buy an Opening Ceremony dress she’d been lusting after. “I’ve been wanting this dress for months,” she posted. “I love it so much. It’s ME.”

Gossiping had some good luck at the Topshop sale, where she picked up a velvet dress in a petite size so that she can wear it as a top. She also purchased a coral colored blouse with a knotted draping detail that she’s wanted “for ages.”

Gossiping also made out like a bandit at the Zara sale. Among her purchases was this faux fur vest and a pair of silver snake patterned flats with an ankle strap.

Classychic also got lucky with the Zara sale, where she picked up a pair of black and nude lace flats with a bow detail.

Jinadaze took advantage of sale prices at COS and picked up several versatile additions to her wardrobe. One of which is the oatmeal colored wool sweater with dotted lines shown above.

Castorpollux shopped online at Yoox and came away with a C’N’C Costume National scarf.

Vandekamp purchased a pair of black wedged boots from Asos to get her through the winter in style. As long as it doesn’t start snowing.
