Fashion Editor Street Style: New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 (Forum Buzz)

Anna hit the streets of New York in Herve Leger with her pal Giovanna. Both women brought some additional interest to their all-black looks with their footwear; Anna with a pop of color, and Giovanna with graphic print flatforms.

Anna’s over the top embellished white dress with cutouts made for the perfect backdrop for her Anna Dello Russo for H&M accessories.

Anna offset the streamlined look of her Victoria Beckham dress with a netted, Italian-widow-type fascinator.

“She looks sooooooooooooooooo good in that Victoria Beckham dress. The whole outfit is perfect. It's so on my best dressed list,” Label Basher wrote.

“Can I just say she's on a roll this season?” FashionPower shared. “She seems to be back at full force! She's also wearing a lot of designers she has never worn like Victoria Beckham!”

Anna made a statement (as always) in bright yellow Louis Vuitton.

“She looks smashing in the yellow Vuitton dress, great shoes, great clutch,” wrote Wolkfolk.

Giovanna attended the Alexander Wang show decked out in patterned Prada.

“She looks really good,” Wolkfolk posted.

“I like her flats,” kasper! commented. “Unexpected choice.”

Forum members loved how Taylor topped off her short shorts and blouse with a sleeveless trench.

“Love this look, the trench is amazing,” wrote Wolkfolk.

“For me, she is an absolute fashion star!” Not Plain Jane exclaimed.

Taylor nipped in her Jil Sander dress with a big architectural belt and made the look more casual by accessorizing with Gladiator-style sandals.

“The sandals really kill the silhouette,” Wolkfolk thought. “I like the idea of pairing cool shoes with such a put together outfit but it doesn't really work.”

Joanna started the week off in colorblocked pajama pants, a white tee, and a cropped J.Brand leather motorcycle jacket.

Not Plain Jane loved the look. “Nice play with proportion and color!” she commented.

Joanna played with color and proportion once again in a turquoise blazer, architectural white blouse, cropped black pants, and chunky booties.

“Amazing outfit as always!!!” Not Plain Jane posted. “Don’t utterly love the boots/shoes, but she loves herself a clunky shoe!”

“It’s cute that [Taylor] doesn’t take herself or fashion too seriously and has some fun with it. I love that she wore these,” Not Plain Jane said of Taylor’s ballooning blue Comme des Garcons shorts ensemble.

Lelaid wasn’t so taken with the look: “Those blue shorts are horrible. She looks like a clown,” he wrote.

“I think the blue shorts are ridiculous, but somehow she makes them work,” wild rose defended. “I can't imagine anyone else being able to pull them off.”

Shala stepped out in a romantic black dress with a sheer overlay. “She looks absolutely smashing in the black sheer dress,” wrote Wolkfolk.

“It’s Proenza Schouler Fall 2012!” Wolkfolk exclaimed of Anya’s look. “I love these dresses. I’m intrigued by the clutch too, it’s very beautiful,” he wrote.

Anya Ziourova wasn’t the only one to step out in Proenza Schouler in NYC.
