I’m completely and totally obsessed with QVC. No, I’m not buying steaks in the middle of the night – but when it comes to their jewelry selection, there’s very little that can beat a Kenneth Jay Lane or Francesca Visconti QVC piece when it comes to quality-for-price-paid. Now two exciting collections will be making their debut – Isaac Mizrahi on QVC and Naeem Khan on HSN.
Mizrahi is a pioneer in the “luxury for less” field. He collaborated with Target way before it was the “hot” thing to do and he’s bringing his A-game over to QVC with a collection that will include a wide array of items, among them designer cheesecakes. What exactly are designer cheesecakes? According to an article in the Wall Street Journal they’ll include — when the treats hit in December — tartan-plaids and white chocolate dyed red with green and navy plaid stripes for Christmas, and for Spring, polka dots.
Food aside. the lively designer will be selling anything and everything lifestyle-related from shoes and handbags to potpourri and furniture.
As for Naeem Khan’s affordable line for HSN, the designer described it as “simple and glamorous” (Khan’s wife, Ranjana Khan, has a line of jewelry that she also sells on the Home Shopping Network). Khan will be making his HSN debut live on at 8pm on October 28th. Everything in the designer’s line will retail for under $450, and sizes range from 0 to 24.
