Marisa Swanson Styles Two by Vince Camuto for the Holidays

lookbehind2-edited

It's a windy day (my hair is all over the place!) and I'm trying on my new look from Two by Vince Camuto, which is sort of perfect because the layering possibilities will definitely keep me cozy during my holiday jaunts. I love the versatility of each piece and all of the ways I can dress this up or leave it casual, depending on where I'm headed. This styling works for professional meetings during the day and drinks with friends at night, provided my naturally wavy tresses are kept under control.

I can add a broach, more jewelry or wear the black Silk Utility Shirt that's underneath the Open Stitch Sweater on its own, for a dressier feel. And the Faux Leather Trim Leggings! Perfection. Not too thin so as to feel inappropriate for upscale situations, not too thick to prevent movement, they're comfortable—and chic. The faux leather panel adds texture and that edgy detail that makes them a go-to with virtually any top, from conservative twinset to sequin tank.

The length of the sweater will let me add a belt around my hips for downtown fetes, perfect for shape definition when I'm wearing the sweater over a pencil skirt or bodycon dress, or allow me to belt my waist when I'm wearing leggings. The boyfriend cut of the black long sleeved silk top that's keeping me warm underneath has so many options. I'm thinking…leave the last few buttons undone, tie the tails together in a little knot and wear over printed dresses or with high-waisted trousers. Add a pretty little clutch, heels and it's on. To you, eggnog and sugar cookies, carolers and sparkling lights, gift wrapping and taxi grabbing at all hours, I say: bring it.
