The Fashion Spot: How did you get interested in fashion?

Julie Sarinana: Ever since I can remember I've been very passionate about fashion. I had a very creative family, and my two sisters were always into fashion, and that's where I got all of my inspiration from while growing up, as well as now. I always felt like fashion came very naturally to me, and loved every aspect of it..the history, how it's evolved, the passion everyone in the industry has for it.

tFS: Who takes your pictures?

J.S.: My pictures are usually taken by my boyfriend, who also has his own blog, and my sisters. I'm so lucky that they are all creative and have a keen eye.

tFS: What fashion sites and blogs do you read daily?

J.S. My daily reads include asubtleapproach, Style.com, FashionClique, tFS, HolierThanNow, SongofStyle, FashionToast, Christeric, Mode D'Amour. I mean, the list is endless.

Favorite time of year for fashion?

Always been a big fan of Fall because I love layering different pieces, wearing jackets, scarfs & boots. But this year, I really enjoyed dressing for Summer - lace dresses, straw hats, orange/red lips, it's been perfect.

What do you hang on your walls?

Inspiration boards with different things that inspire me like interiors, color palettes, ribbons, personal photos, magazine tears, etc. I love antlers, so I have a pair on my wall, a vintage chandelier that's hung above my bed, and I used a cork board to hang my necklaces - it looks cool while being eco-friendly!

Do you pay a lot of attention to reader feedback?

Readers are everything to a bloggers. So yes, reader feedback is extremely important to me! I value their feelings and opinions! I have amazing readers/followers that are extremely supportive, so it keeps me motivated!

What do you want to be doing in five years?

Hopefully keep working in the industry, but most importantly to keep growing, being creative, being passionate, and the most important thing to me is that I want to be happy. I also want to  open my own boutique in 5 years, of clothing, accessories, books, and other goodies!
