Wack or Worthy? Fall’s Most Questionable Trends

We’ve seen a lot of interesting trends go down the runway in the past, and lucky for us (or is it?), this season was no exception. From tartan to bondage to ladies in tuxedos, tell us, would you ever be caught dead in one of these looks? Or just can’t get enough of ‘em?

1. SHEER POLKA DOTS

Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2011

If anyone can make sheer fishnet flesh toned polka dots look good, it’s definitely Diane Von Furstenberg, but even this one’s a bit of a stretch for us. One wrong movement and BAM that polka dot is suddenly in a very intimate, private place. Holey shirt!

2. CAMO

L.A.M.B. Fall 2011

We’re not quite sure if we should be planning a hunting trip or heading off to a business meeting in this bizarre work-meets-wildlife getup. Typically, we’re all for the military trend, but head-to-toe camo, come on, we’re not sure if we can enlist in this look.

3. TARTAN

Rag & Bone Fall 2011

Is it a skirt? Is it a quilt? Are we in Scotland? Is it awful? Well, that’s for you to decide my friend. What we can tell you, though, is that Tartan plaid is in for fall yet again.

4. BONDAGE

Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2011

So, this look kind of scares us…how about you? Don’t get us wrong, a little fetish wear and black leather is cool in moderation (hey, we thought we were being risqué with our thigh high black leather buckle boots), but this outfit is just too much for even us. And what’s up with that thing on her head? Would you rock this or no, not a chance?

5. TUXEDOS

Prabal Gurung Fall 2011

The tuxedo trend isn’t really our thing, but we can still respect a good suit when we see one. That being said, we’re not too sure what to think about this look.
