From cross-body to oversized clutches, here are the 10 bags we're coveting for spring.

Among the most notable trends when it came to handbags on the Spring 2012 runways is that many clutches will be coming with carrying handles and many bag styles, whether of the daytime or nighttime variety, will be fashioned in oversized silhouettes. Further, the ongoing cross-body bag trend shows no signs of slowing down, but come Spring, they will be available in innovative iterations, most notably the ones seen on Wang's runway where the cross-body style also tied into the oversized trend. Here's a look at 10 of the most notable bags of the Spring 2012 season.

Just when you think you've seen the cross-body bag in every iteration possible, Wang designs a golf bag-inspired one.

No, it's not a lunchbox, just an oversized wristlet. Sure it doesn't look all that convenient (can you imagine what carrying it is like when it's full?) but there's no arguing with its originality.

  • Derek Lam

    Derek Lam

Lam didn't stray far from his signatures this season, but it's hard to argue with the appeal of his signature ram hardware.
