Forget comfort for Spring 2012 because even sneakers came with built in heels this season (Marc by Marc Jacobs). It's true that some of the relatively flat platforms we saw on the Spring 2011 runways did make a return, notably on the Proenza Schouler runway, but they looked far from easy to walk in and by the looks of the somewhat mangled toes of the models in a number of the shoe shots, we better get working on our walk now.
