Forum Street Style: Urban Street Chic
Forum members toughen up in leather, lace, and more.

Style varies distinctly among our forum members, but this week there seemed to be a prevalence of what I’m choosing to call “urban street chic.” The looks below all seem to have a hint of edge, whether it be through a visible bra, a healthy dose of leather, or just the general vibe.
Juneping wore Leith leather pants with a Theory sweater, a denim and fur vest by Helmut Lang, and Isabel Marant Dicker boots. Risska layered like a pro to create an unconventional school-girl look with a Witchery dress, Valleygirl jacket, Seed scarf, Midas loafers, and a nude patent bag. Liina dressed up her BZR pants with a Malene Birger tee, Gestuz jacket, Bikbok booties, an Alexander Wang bag, and Karen Walker sunglasses.
Mariliis debuted her new hot pink hair in a pleated black mini skirt with a vintage lace blouse, an A-wear vest, and wedged booties. Wewerefloating kept her John Zack white lace dress from looking too sweet by combining it with black tights and a blazer from H&M, and flat black boots from Asos. Juneping pulled out another pair of leather pants, this time by Vince, and wore them with a collection of Isabel Marant items that included her Mendy top, July jacket, and Mony boots.
Ediewho donned a torn pair of jeans and tee by Stradivarius with a Sicomoro cardigan, vintage boots, and a floppy hat by Blanco. Rockin Republic toughened up with a hoodie and faux leather pants from H&M’s Girl With the Dragon Tattoo collection, and a pair of boots and a bag from Zara. Tweenspirit dressed casually in APC jeans, a Brooks Brothers shirt, and a Uniqlo knit topped off with a Barbour by ToKiTo coat, and Grenson boots. Images via the Fashion Spot forums. |
