Let me preface this post by saying I’m not your average “girly girl.” I grew up playing sports, and until the age of 13, the only hairdo I was rocking was a sleek ponytail (no bumps, obvi). So when it comes to my love life, you can pretty much expect the same. I don’t cook, much to my boyfriend’s disappointment, and the only “sexy” ensembles you’ll find me in are for special occasions. I just love the boho look too much, what can I say? When presented with this challenge though, I was actually pretty stoked. My boyfriend and I both work from home, so a typical date night for us normally includes a whole lot of laptop action, a quick dinner (most likely prepared by him) and an episode or two of Storage Wars on the boob tube if we’re lucky. Pretty romantic, huh? That’s why this month I was super pumped to spice up our love life with five fun Valentine’s Day challenges. And yes, ladies, spice things up we did. Day One: Buy Sexy Lingerie
In case you’re wondering, no, that’s not me in the photo (although I wish it was). I’m more of a boxers/oversized tee kind of gal, like I said before. I did, however, happen to buy this sexy little lingerie set from La Fee Verte for day one of the challenge. To get prepped for my big reveal, I used the Schick Quattro for Women TrimStyle razor/trimmer to clean up down there. A girl’s gotta have silky smooth legs and a nice bikini line to rock lingerie, right? Not only did my legs look great, they FELT great too. And I felt super sexy sans all that stubble. It's always nice to find a razor that's like a two-for-one deal (and isn't double the price). Not gonna lie, my boyfriend actually used the trimmer too, haha, but we won’t get into all of that. Once I cleaned up, I stepped into my new lingerie to share a glass of wine with my boo. While he wasn’t the biggest fan of the La Fee Verte top, let’s just say he definitely didn’t hate the bottoms. Hey, you can’t win ‘em all, can you?
