Never underestimate the power of simple layers. For a jacket like this, when you want to go for separates, you have to let its structure be the star. That means you should wear something underneath that is a contrasting, loose fit and should hit just a couple of inches below the hem of the jacket. Extra Tips: A Note On Pants
Because of the hip detail and length of the jacket, banded pants (those with a waistband and belt loops) can be tricky.
