A fabulous mix of glam numbers, big misses, and just plain wackiness.

The fashions at this year’s Costume Institute Gala were a fabulous mix of covetable glamorous numbers, big misses, and just plain wackiness.

The annual gala took place on May 4th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The exhibition's theme was "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion".

The event was co-chaired by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs, Justin Timberlake, and supermodel Kate Moss.

Kate Moss arrived with Marc Jacobs. She looked stunning in a custom gold lamé turban and dress by Marc Jacobs, paired with Harry Winston jewelry.  I have a feeling a turban trend will ensue.

Fashionista Victoria Beckham showed up in a Marc Jacobs mini-polka dot number that had a sort of sari feel, showing off her uber-slender gams.

Tibi Knotted-Waist Crepe Top, $275

A tangerine striped top not only incorporates the season's hottest color, but the tie-front silhouette works perfectly with maxi skirts and high waist pants.
