TREND: LINGERIE AS OUTERWEAR

Sexy corsets, sheer fabric, hot garters and feathers are making their way onto ready-to-wear runways. Boudoir secrets are being exposed this season, and women are not being shy about it. Vintage lingerie is making a strong comeback into day looks while sexy, slnky cover ups are being strutted around the streets. A silk-inspired robe is worn as a dress, while leather corsets are layered over outerwear.



Sheer nylon and cut outs are being worn all across town highlighting a women’s best features, her curves. The message of sex is blatant, but somehow designers manage to keep it classy.

D&G wips up a sexy Scarlet O’Hara look in a velvet corset mini dress with deeply exposed shoulders.

Alexander Wang plays peekaboo with a bare midriff, bandeau top, and strategically placed bolero jacket.

Feathers and nylon? You’d expect to see it on a Burlesque dancer, but not on a Givenchy model. Somehow the wool trousers pull it together into a class act.
