Givenchy Spring 2014
Few and far between are those that can (and would want to) pull off the bold cuts and loud prints Riccardo Tisci showed this season, but if the Givenchy designer’s past collections are anything to go by, the ones that do end up wearing them – think Kanye West – more than make up for their lack of universal appeal.

Hermes Spring 2014
Véronique Nichanian kept things casual, but appropriately luxe, showing relaxed silhouettes and easy, clean-lined separates (there were even some white tees in the mix) that came in both traditional materials like linen, along with lambskin, crocodile, python and other materials that displayed Hermes’ unique craftsmanship.

Lanvin Spring 2014
Alber Elbaz and Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver kept things casual this season with oversized suits and sporty separates (including jogging pants). The more tailored pieces had a feminine feel – think slim print trousers and fitted colorblocked tanks.

Paul Smith Spring 2014
Paul Smith balanced out his signature quirk – this season it came in the way of 70s-inspired psychedelic prints like mushrooms and bright, saturated hues – with neutral toned, classically cut closet staples.
