My Fashion Week Signature Style: Feminine Chic

What’s your signature style? When I was asked that question, I thought oh, this will be easy! But then I realized it was far from it. I love jeans, a T-shirt, and booties, but I also love dresses and sky-high stilettos. I love big cozy sweaters and clear gloss, but at the same time, I could live in leather leggings and a stained red lip.  So, after envisioning all my favorite outfits, it came to me – my signature style is Feminine Chic.

So what is Feminine Chic? For me, I wouldn’t say it’s girly or preppy, but I would describe it as things that I find pretty and stylish. I love pieces that are classic, but have more of a sophisticated edge. Black and white creates the foundation of my Feminine Chic style. It’s my inspiration whether it’s in my wardrobe, my photography, decorating the apartment…even my dog is black and white. (That was not planned!) And I love layering in prints or texture – stripes are a must!

So in putting together my INC International Concepts, only at Macy’s signature look for Fashion Week, I fell in love with the stripe sweater with mesh. It embodied the pretty and sophisticated look I was going for. I added the classic pencil skirt, sweater tucked in, as it is the perfect feminine touch. Next up, layering on the jewels! For this outfit, a statement necklace is a great way to highlight the mesh neckline. I love the Black and White Stone Two-Row Bib. I also added a few of the gold bracelets from the Crystal Pave Bangle set. As for a bag, I love clutches! I layered in the Angelina Crossbody, but I used its versatility and tucked in the strap to make it more of an envelope bag. I also added the Zaphire Ankle Strap heels – I love that they are closed toe and have a bit of a point. To complete the look, bed head curls with a bright red lip are a MUST. And don’t forget a spritz of perfume before heading out the door!
