Mickey Mouse is turning out to be quite the popular fashion influencer this season. In honor of his 90th birthday, he’s collaborating with Marc Jacobs, Opening Ceremony, Levi’s, Kate Spade, Vans and now, Rag & Bone is partnering with Disney for the company’s “Mickey the True Original” campaign.
Rag & Bone x Mickey Mouse is a unisex capsule collection that includes the brand’s bestselling looks featuring Mickey designs. As with the other collaborators, Rag & Bone uses Mickey illustrations throughout the years, including an angry Mickey Mouse, which gives the clothes an edgy vibe.
“Beginning with original sketches from the Mickey Mouse archives, the capsule reimagines his heritage with a New York sensibility,” the brand explained in a press release. The brand launches the collection with an upbeat video, as well as Mickey-themed treats at three pop-up events in New York, Los Angeles and London.
