Vittoria Ceretti Might Have Deserved Better on the Cover of Harper’s Bazaar Italia

The new team installed at Harper’s Bazaar Italia continues to inject the magazine with new life. It was back in late 2024 that Massimo Russo was named editor-in-chief (having succeeded Daria Veledeeva). Stefano Tonchi became editorial director, and the design studio M/M is currently spearheading the publication’s visual identity. The magazine, which relaunched in 2022, is now onto Issue #26. Russo welcomes Vittoria Ceretti onto the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Italia, who poses on the February 2026 edition of the magazine. The Italian beauty and current face of Fendi teams up with the photographer Willy Vanderperre for the occasion, complete with Olivier Rizzo on styling duties. In the playful and kitsch cover shot, Ceretti poses in a floral look from Demna’s debut Gucci Spring 2026 collection.

Read below the reacitons of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Italian Bazaar under M/M feels like Farneti for Vogue Italia in the best way possible. It’s fresh and different. I have respect for a team that tries and pushes boundaries,” commended callmejaeden.

“M/M doing such a wonder to HB Italia: Kitsch, fresh, and fun,” echoed forum member phungnam96.

Not everyone, however, was so forthcoming. “This is so tragic. Pointless even to point out why.

These M/M guys should retire, for god’s sake. Old, stuffy, and tired ideas. Willy Vanderperre is a whole other tragedy,” exclaimed 90sfan.

“They did Vitto dirty,” an unforgiving mimosifolia declared.

“Vittoria, you know I love you, but that cover is atrocious. You deserved better,” wrote fashionlov.

Vogue28 wasn’t impressed either. “What an absolute waste of Vittoria Ceretti. The art direction is an eyesore, a visual headache, and looks like an absolute mess. Not sold on Harper’s Bazaar Italia whatsoever!” he slated.
