Last year proved to be somewhat monumental for Vogue Brazil, as the publication commemorated 50 years of print. Names like Alessandro Ambrosio, Camilla Pitanga, Adriana Lima, Daiane Sodré, Irina Shayk, Naomi Campbell, Joan Smalls, and Gisele Bündchen were welcomed onto the covers of the title by editor-in-chief Paula Merlo. To kick-start 2026, Merlo secured Marieta Severo on the cover of the January edition and now serves up Bad Bunny as a Vogue Brazil cover star, who poses across the February 2026 issue of the magazine. Across a twosome of covers, the Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and record producer appears before the lens of the photographic duo Mar+Vin. Styled by Rita Lazzarotti, the Grammy Award-winning artist wears looks from Mondepars and Luar.
Bad Bunny for Vogue Brazil February 2026

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I’ll NEVER understand his appeal,” immediately voiced Squizree.
“What the actual F? He’s not even famous in Brazil, lol. Nobody knows him here,” chimed in guimon.
KoV shared: “His music has grown on me, to some extent. Even though I don’t care to see him on the cover of women’s fashion magazines, one thing I’ll never do is pretend he isn’t popular and well known. Globally, he’s been the top-streamed artist of the year for four of the past six years!”
“I’m not a fan, but saying Bad Bunny is not popular here in Brazil does not sound correct at all. I couldn’t care less about the cover, but timing was absolutely great for them,” commented thiago.
MModa defended: “Overall, I really like it. The colors are cool, as always. Bad Bunny is a cutie. What is bad about it is the tie! It looks plastic and fake and totally ruins the outfit for me.”
