Zac Posen at Gap. Claire Waight Keller at Uniqlo. And now, John Galliano at Zara. That’s right, the celebrated British designer is set to collaborate with the Spanish high street retailer, which will see Galliano “re-author” the brand’s archives. The appointment marks a return to fashion for Galliano, after parting ways with Maison Margiela, following a 10-year stint. “I’m super excited, because it’s not something I’ve done before, so that kind of tickles me—the newness, the excitement, the actual process,” Galliano told Vogue. The creative venture is scheduled to be a two-year partnership, and the first collection will hit stores this September.
