The “Short ‘n Sweet” singer strutted her way to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for “Jonathan Anderson’s first Cruise for Dior” in a sunny yellow ensemble, looking stunning as always. Carpenter wore the fully see-through dress, which also served as the collection’s opening look, over lacy lingerie. She teamed her outfit with a matching yellow purse, heels, and a half-updo.
As per Dior’s post, Anderson’s show “draws on the House’s history in Hollywood. From Monsieur Dior’s 1955 Oscar nomination for Best Costume Design to Marlene Dietrich’s famous declaration ‘No Dior, No Dietrich!’”
