Matthieu Blazy-approved Chanel campaigns continue to drop left, right, and centre. The French-Belgian designer tapped Alec Soth for his highly anticipated Spring 2026 campaign offering, called upon Craig McDean to capture Margot Robbie for the Chanel 25 handbag installment- in addition to the Spring 2026 Chanel Eyewear campaign. Blazy, who was appointed Chanel creative director in late 2024, enlists Julien Martinez Leclerc for the Chanel Coco Beach 2026 campaign. Captured on a dramatic, volcanic black sand beach, models Rebecca Leigh Longendyke, Sun Mizrahi, and Elodie Guipaud roam the astonishing landscape. The girls showcase the collection of shell lace, silk dresses, jersey swimsuits, multicoloured striped knits, and nautical costume jewellery – marking Blazy’s first capsule collection for the fabled French fashion house.

Yet not everyone was so forthcoming. “This could’ve looked good in theory, but the over-controlled approach really kills it. The ‘sand’ looks like a black carpet, and the waves look AI-generated,” Thefrenchy critiqued.
