Appointed in October 2025, Maria Grazia Chiuri is now settled into her role as Fendi creative director. During the Fall 2026 season of Milan Fashion Week in February, the Italian designer (formerly of Christian Dior) staged her highly anticipated debut as the creative force behind the Italian fashion house. This time around, MGC opted to shy away from a huge runway spectacle (unlike Chanel and Dior) for the Cruise/Resort season, instead presenting the collection via a series of carefully crafted photos and a stylized short film entitled “Beyond the Mirror”. MGC continues to establish her vision for the Fendi wardrobe: interchangeable silhouettes for men and women, staples that mix and match seamlessly, and accessories rooted in experimentation.
