Alexandre Herchcovitch was doing just that at his Spring/Summer 2011 show.
There were nude lips with a nude dress, turquoise lips with a turquoise dress, and lime green lips with a lime green dress.
Even black was thrown into the mix, where dark purplish black lips were the icing on the cake of a jet black dress with puffed sleeves.
If all this matchy-matchy color fervor is too much for you, then how about matching your lipstick to at least one of the colors in your clothes?
Herchcovitch did this too, and the effect was super edgy and cool, like stacked Lego blocks.
