How To
Hair by: Angel Mendez, stylist
1. First blowout and smooth out the hair if desired, otherwise, let hair air-dry.
2. Section hair off from the temples of the face and sweep it back into a hair tie, so that only the top half of the hair is up and the rest is down.
3. Begin to fishtail braid hair all the way to the end and then using a piece at the end of the braid, wrap it around as if it were a hair tie and pin it in the back, so that it looks as though the hair tie is the hair.
4. Take a piece of hair from under the top of the braid where the fishtail starts and wrap it around the hair tie to create the same effect and then pin it underneath.
5. Finish the look with a texturizing spray like Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($42).

How To
Hair by: Erin Taylor, head stylist
1. For longer, thicker hair, put your hair into one pony. For shorter hair or less dense hair, make two ponies very close together in the center of the back of your head. For more texture, use Kérastase V.I.P. Volume in Powder ($37) to create more volume and texture in the hair and the Kérastase Short Mania ($36) if you need more grip while you are braiding.
2. Single-braid your pony/ponies and secure with elastic.
3. Begin wrapping and pinning your braid(s) in a circle to cover the elastics until everything is tucked in and secure.
4. Finish with Kérastase Laque Couture ($37).

How To
Hair by: Erin Taylor, head stylist
1. Section off the front of the hair from ear to ear into four sections and clip.
2. Gather the rest of the hair into a low ponytail, secure with an elastic tie and smooth out the pony with a flat iron.
3. Ensure that the four top sections are smoothed out with hairspray (this is key for the slicked back effect) and then grab the inner two closest to the middle of the crown and cross them over one another, then wrap the ends around the low ponytail and pin underneath.
4. Grab the remaining two outer sections closest to the ears and pull back without crossing, and simply wrap the ends around the ponytail as well.

How To
Hair by: Angel Mendez, stylist
1. Section the front of the hair from ear to ear and halfway to the back of the crown and smooth out with a flat iron. The key is to make the front section really, really flat and not voluminous.
2. Flat iron the rest of the hair in the back and then backcomb the top of the crown for the bump in volume. To get the best results, hairspray the hair being backcombed before and after the backcombing process for added texture and volume.
3. Finish off the look with more hairspray all around and add some Kérastase Elixir ($56) for extra shine on the ends.
