The April 2014 issue of Italian Vogue surfaced on the forums today, with thanks to mainstay. The cover features Mexican model Issa Lish with a male companion wearing Blumarine. Steven Meisel captured the cover shot and with Guido to style hair, Pat McGrath to apply the makeup and Karl Templer to style clothes, I have no doubt we're in for a thrilling ride.
Members of theFashionSpot are very excited about this with IndigoHomme kicking off the discussion: "She looks stunning, the second Mexican model on the Italian Vogue cover."
"I guess a major Steven job was bound to happen since she opened Anna Sui. I like this, it's something different, and the glint in her eyes is really captivating. I cant wait to see the story," wrote TREVOFASHIONISTO.
Youarearockstar was also enthusiastic: "100% into this, as an image. The composition is beautiful. Good on them for doing something totally different."
Darling Myy wrote, "Can't remember when was the last time I liked a Vogue Italia cover this much, hopefully the editorial doesn't disappoint."
It was hard not to acknowledge all the positive responses: "I love it! The composition of the shot really does give it a cinematic feel, almost like they stopped in the middle of shooting a movie and took some photographs instead. Beautiful, attention grabbing and well made, everything a cover should be! Issa looks great, I have to look her up!" posted orthelian.
