Fresh off the cover of U.S. Vogue‘s September issue, Cara Delevingne stars on Allure‘s October 2014 cover. The British 22-year-old was shot by Mario Testino with her blond locks styled in 70s curls that caressed her flawless face and delivered a great beauty image. The current face of the My Burberry fragrance (alongside Kate Moss) can also be found inside the issue for a range of captivating beauty images.
“The editorial looks really good! But not sure about the cover,” replied Oxymore.
“Not so sure about the cover. Cara definitely doesn’t fit the whole bombshell vibe they were going for,” stated orchidee, who clearly didn’t appreciate the direction behind the shoot.
Much like most of our forum members, coutugh prefers the editorial: “Hate the cover. Whatever they tried to do with transforming Cara into an almost doll-like figure failed. I like the editorial images though they almost gave me an Irving Penn vibe.”
“I don’t like the cover, but I think the preview of the editorial looks really good,” agreed testinofan.
Sharing the same sentiments was justaguy: “Don’t care for the cover, but the edit is pretty cool, very Penn-esque!”
