Lara Stone Smolders In Tom Ford’s New Fragrance Ad Campaign (Forum Buzz)

By now, we’ve become used to seeing racy and controversial advertising campaigns from Tom Ford. (Crotch shot, anyone?) However, the brand’s latest release for the ‘Noir Pour Femme’ fragrance opted for a more subdued concept. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Dutch beauty Lara Stone is the face of the seductive new scent and stood before the camera with voluminous hair complemented by a killer smoky eye while clutching a bottle of Tom Ford’s latest offering.

Are our forum members about to rush out and make a purchase? “I was hoping for something more sexy from Tom Ford,” commented madzedre the moment the campaign surfaced.

“Ugh, the hair bothers me here,” added VersaceVixen009, questioning the hairstylist’s choice.

In agreement was Benn98 who responded, “Me too! I don’t know why they chose to borrow Daphne’s awful 2Quid wig look for this. Certainly don’t find it sexy, trashy…yes. And when I squinted, it looked like she was holding that Moschino bear perfume bottle.”

“The makeup bothers me,” Oxymore wrote, also not showing much enthusiasm toward the overall look.

“What’s the fascinating paradox of the Tom Ford woman? Does it have anything to do with the idea that ‘it takes a lot of money to look this cheap’?” asked tigerrogue.

Lola701, on the other hand, showed the image some love. “She looks great here and I love this campaign. I think she is the perfect Tom Ford woman,” she enthused.

As did KateTheGreatest: “Is she perfect or what? I love this woman, she looks smoking hot.”
