Our forums are notorious for complaining about the same old, same old, yearning for something new and innovative. But Etro has just unveiled a campaign for Fall 2015 that proves change isn’t always better. In what’s most likely to be the shock of the season, Kate Moss becomes the new face of the Italian luxury fashion house. Etro’s previous campaigns have been slandered for being static and unoriginal. The brand is set to lift the curse after tapping the British supermodel, who was photographed doing what she does best while lying on a bed of busy prints for Mario Testino.
Our forum members continue to express their genuine amazement. “I like the styling and the change for Etro is good — great campaign,” raved a delighted testinofan.
“When I read the thread title I was hoping that Kate would save Etro by Testino of being boring and using the same-old and indeed, I quite like this. It has a [Roberto] Cavalli vibe but still… I like the textures,” admired an impressed kokobombon.
Also pleasantly surprised with the result was Chanelcouture09: “I really love the freshness! Kate brings her effortless, bohemian aesthetic to this perfectly and I would not have thought this was by Mario,” he confessed.
“Kate saves it,” announced HelaFav5.
