It’s fair to say that Vogue Thailand had us in the palm of its hands last month, producing one of its strongest covers thus far with Amanda Wellsh. Now moving on to the December issue, Thai Vogue embraces Miranda Kerr as its new cover girl, which sent us into a frenzy. The Aussie beauty’s last Vogue cover appearance was back in July 2014, so we’ve found ourselves slightly deprived lately. Photographed by Russell James, Miranda wears a romantic pink ruffled dress by Alexander McQueen and we’re loving it.
The majority of our forum members were pleasantly surprised by the outcome. “Pretty in pink, and given how awful covers have been recently, the sight of something as inoffensive as this seems good,” praised tigerrouge.
“All this pink with Miranda is just cute. Very lovely cover,” replied narcyza.
In agreement over how beautiful the cover turned out was TeeVanity, congratulating, “This is lovely, great for Miranda and Vogue Thailand.”
“Very U.K. Vogue... I like it, too much pink but still very pretty,” reasoned kokobombon.
“I like it as well and agree with you guys. This would be a great British Vogue cover, it’s got that softness that one just cannot help but warm to. I just realised Miranda doesn’t have a British Vogue cover at all, which is odd,” Benn98 pointed out.
The rest seemed to turn their noses up at the cover, though. “This looks in the realm of Good Housekeeping or some cake magazine cover. Just Midwest cheapness,” slammed an uninterested Phuel.
“What happened to her career? Is she still busy? She used to be everywhere and now she’s on Vogue… Thailand,” blueorchid laughed.
