Gigi Hadid must be clapping her hands and shouting from the rooftops as she currently stars on British Vogue‘s new January cover and has just been unveiled as one of the faces of Stuart Weitzman. Gigi joins peers Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls for the occasion. Even after switching things up by replacing long-term face of Weitzman Gisele Bündchen, the high-end shoe label continues to enlist the photographic expertise of Mario Testino to lens the images. For the Spring 2016 campaign, the three beauties huddle together, wearing nothing but a pair of Weitzman’s newly adapted Nudist sandal.

Our forums weren’t up for change whatsoever and weren’t afraid to let loose. “Why Lily dear God, why?” asked marsnoop2 the moment the campaign came out.
“What does Testino see in Lily? She’s the odd one in this,” added TREVOFASHIONISTO in agreement.
Also questioning the casting was thatsfierce: “Lily looks so out of place… Joan looks fantastic.”
“Joan looks amazing. I like this. Can’t wait to see the rest. Somehow I’m not too bothered by Lily in this ad,” shared khyrk.
But anlabe32 most definitely wasn’t a fan, slamming, “Three insufferable girls in awful shoes shot by an overrated photographer. There’s NOTHING to like about this.”
“Those shoes are so unremarkable that you need THREE nude women in the shot,” laughed an unimpressed tigerrouge.
