We were still pretty content with admiring Chanel‘s fabulous Fall 2015 campaign with beauties Anna Ewers and Lindsey Wixson since we crowned it one of Chanel’s best campaigns in decades. Now, unveiled as prompt as ever, the Spring 2016 advertisement series is here for our pleasure with the French fashion house continuing to amaze. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld (obv) and with styling from Carine Roitfeld, the team welcomes duo Mica Arganaraz and Lineisy Montero as their girls of the season, who both model the collection around various New York City locations.
Hell, yes! Our forum members lapped up the campaign immediately. “YASSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Just one word: ICONIC! Perfection, finally Uncle Karl!!” raved Riseup.
“Love this. Such a mood change compared to the show. It’s pretty raw, it has attitude,” enthused dodencebt.
Sharing the same positive outlook on the images was kokobombon, adding, “I like both models and the set, which works great with the styling IMO.”
Lola701 felt the same way: “I like it! Uncle Karl is at his best when he is not shooting in his studio. I love the choices of Lineisy and Mica! They are great for Chanel!”
“Whoa, it looks great! Can’t even remember the last time I’ve liked a Chanel campaign. I love the outdoor set! The colors and clothes really pop up and catch the eye. Can’t wait to see more!!” complimented Valentine27 in anticipation.
Nepenthes sure was a fan, too. “Yes!! Lineisy and Mica look amazing and I love the whole attitude of the campaign!” he praised.
“This is stellar!! This is the Chanel I love: Bright, light, easy, breezy, cheerful,” echoed a more than appreciative gazebo.
