ELLE did a fabulous job with Rooney Mara last month as our forums showed the cover a ton of praise. The magazine appears to continue its mini wave of success with the February issue after unveiling five covers featuring five of TV’s hottest stars. For ELLE‘s annual Women in TV Issue, the title photographed Priyanka Chopra, Viola Davis, Olivia Wilde and Julia Louis-Dreyfus along with Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson.
One cover in particular seemed to reign supreme. “Priyanka’s giving me sexy and deranged all at once but I love it. She’s like the sexiest person in the insane asylum waking up in the morning,” said A.D.C.
“Stunning. She looks like she’s about to lose her mind but still manages to look so damn good!” MON shared in agreement.
“Finally a cover with someone ‘fresh & new.’ She looks wonderful, but the text layout doesn’t work with the image!” added Miss Dalloway.
Also appreciative was SallyAlbright: “YAY, so happy to see her get a major American cover, she is so stunning! I agree about too much text, but so nice to see a fresh face.”
Once the rest of the covers came to light, we realized that ELLE sure has done us proud. “All of those covers are like the best covers I’ve seen from ELLE in years!” marsnoop2 raved.
Forum member dodencebt shared the same sentiments, responding, “Oh wow, now that’s an array of stunning covers. I can’t fault a single one.”
