Harper’s Bazaar Australia‘s last issue with a buck-naked Miranda Kerr on the front sent shock waves across the country and was ultimately removed from newsstands. Now moving on to the release of the mag’s next edition and toning things right down, Aussie Bazaar delivers a subtle yet stunning new cover for March 2016. Lily Collins is the title’s latest cover star, who looks striking in Chanel in the stark image lensed by photographer David Roemer.
Our forum members were a very happy bunch. “I love Lily, I think she’s beautiful but for me, she’s never photographed to her full potential. Looks like this is by far one of her better shoots,” complemented honeycombchild.
“Ooh, this looks amazing!! Very striking and clean image,” Benn98 chimed in.
Showing great enthusiasm toward the cover was Nepenthes, adding, “Gorgeous cover, Lily’s gaze instantly pulls you in. Love it!”
“Beautiful cover! Reminiscent of U.S. Bazaar‘s relaunch layout in ’92,” raved justaguy.
Also full of praise was Luxx: “Gorgeous. Simple and evocative, not too much text. I know that there are a lot of complaints regarding photography in threads lately, but for me the most glaring annoyance on magazine covers is the layout and text.”
“I love this cover. It is simple but at the same time it seems interesting. She looks very pretty, love her gaze,” acknowledged GarageGlamorous.
“This looks really elegant. I don’t think I’ve seen Lily look this lovely. A major step up from the other editions,” dfl-001 congratulated.
