Our forums are notorious for calling out various magazines and brands for their blunders, but we also love to give credit where it’s due. This month we salute Vogue Mexico, which usually drops off our radar, often failing to bring its A game when it comes to cover shoots. Ysaunny Brito, one of the hottest models to come from the Dominican Republic, steals the spotlight for April by working it in a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress on the cover, shot by photographer Jacques Dequeker.
Naturally, our forum members couldn’t contain their excitement. “Beyond happy for Ysaunny! The 3 covers are nice, definitely getting this issue,” announced TeeVanity at once.
“OMG so happy for Ysaunny! Her face is out of this world and she looks great on all three covers!” raved Nepenthes.
Also equally amazed with Vogue Mexico was Miss Dalloway. “Wow Brito is rocking this! VM easily becoming one of the editions I look forward to,” she credited.
Echoing the same attitude was thatsfierce: “So happy and excited for Ysaunny!!! She deserves all the attention in the world. Loving the three covers.”
Forum member crosidan felt the same way, adding, “Always amazing to see Afro-Latin Americans on the cover of Vogue Mexico.”
“She looks stunning, it was about time she got a Vogue cover. She is so underrated but soo good,” admired fer19dog.
“Yas! Living for this. Stunning in every way, congrats Ysaunny,” Riseup raved in appreciation.
