She’s the woman who has been on everyone’s lips over the past 24 hours after ELLE commenced a countdown in her honor via its Instagram page, setting the BeyHive into a frenzy. So, it came as no surprise when Beyoncé unveiled a first look at her new athleisure brand, Ivy Park, earlier today. Beyoncé now takes the cover of ELLE‘s May issue, wearing a black cotton sweatshirt and elastane-blend bodysuit, by Ivy Park (natch). Photographed by Paola Kudacki, the cover was sure to set pulses racing on our forums.
And the cover did just that. “This is stunning! I love the simplicity!” hailed MON immediately after the cover first broke.
“Feels like one of their older covers, I feel lately they have been going easy on all the text so it’s strange to see this again! However it’s a strong image of her, and I like the cover,” approved Miss Dalloway shortly after.
Also quick to show their approval was kokobombon, writing, “I don’t care about her but I really like this, not so much the styling but the hair and makeup and her expression.”
Srdjan was in the same frame of mind. “Not my type of styling, but she looks good! Great face and hair. I prefer this to the British cover, and it’s definitely better than her September Vogue cover,” he pointed out.
Too early for more debate, but no real signs of negativity here (by our forums’ standards, at least). Add your own two cents as we turn up Beyoncé’s music and join the conversation here.
