But the cover left our forums divided. “This is STUNNING! Wow. I love the feminine touch to the cover. And I love how everything’s just so calm and chic. I couldn’t ask for a better cover. She keeps on giving quality work… For the very first time, their layout worked and that’s a huge deal,” congratulated MON.

“Pretty much looks like a great issue for May!!! Gigi is really gorgeous, I love how stripped back she is here. Wow she is ROCKING the Vogue covers! U.S. Vogue next!” added Miss Dalloway.

The cover wasn’t catering to everyone’s tastes, however. “Now she is everywhere but this is too bad,” disapproved zzzyao76.

Also not showing much appreciation was narcyza: “Gigi’s makeup is terrible. Nothing special. Really boring cover of Vogue Germany…”

Marc10 wasn’t much of an admirer, either, pointing out, “The lighting on the cover is awful, her face looks so weird.”

“The cover is awful, I would love the cover story with another model (Imagine it with Anna Ewers, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Doutzen Kroes or Alisa Ahmann), it does not work with her face in my opinion…” complained an underwhelmed dcmaike.
