Victoria Beckham’s Vogue Australia Cover Looks Like Every Other Victoria Beckham Cover (Forum Buzz)

Last month, Vogue Australia jumped on the Kendall Jenner bandwagon, which did not go over well with our forums. Now, in an attempt to get back in our good graces, forum favorite Victoria Beckham serves as the mag’s November cover star. No stranger to Vogue (and fresh off the cover of British Vogue), Victoria was shot in profile by Boo George for an almost iconic-looking image. The Estée Lauder collaborator looks beautiful with a messy updo hairstyle, a killer smoky eye and a crisp white shirt.

Although the cover ultimately generated a mixture of feedback, our forums were full of admiration at first glance. “Oh wow, that’s gorgeous. Very clean and sleek. Also love the silver masthead,” praised a delighted dodencebt.

“Victoria books more Vogue covers than working models. I do love the photo and the silver masthead,” agreed RanThe.

Also an admirer was jeffandtheworld, applauding, “Gotta love the layout. Very effective and powerful. Good job Vogue Aussie!”

Yet, not everyone was impressed. “I love icy covers and I really like this one, my only objection is that I wished her nose job hadn’t taken such a starring role on the cover. I generally don’t mind them but I can’t help feeling a bit uncomfortable,” shared a disgruntled Wintergreen.

“She’s become so boring, always photographed in the exact same way. NEXT! And again another Vogue Australia cover with a celebrity on it instead of a model. The recent issues of RUSSH have been much more exciting,” discredited an unforgiving HeatherAnne.

A.D.C. wasn’t exactly jumping up and down at the sight of the cover either. “The cover looks like it could’ve been an outtake for her last Vogue Australia cover shoot and honestly all her photo shoots are blurring,” she stated.

“I like it, it’s nice, but a lot of pics of her are the same over and over again,” thought Nymphaea, echoing the sentiments of the majority.
