Mica Arganaraz Modeling Chanel’s Cruise 2017 Collection Is a Match Made In Heaven (Forum Buzz)

After Chanel’s mainline advertising campaign for Fall 2016 was a total flop, our forums were ready for whatever else Chanel churned out next. As reported by one of our eagle-eyed forum members back in May, model Mica Arganaraz was spotted on location in St. Tropez shooting with Karl Lagerfeld. Instantly, we recognized the shoot could have been for Chanel’s Cuban-inspired collection’s advertising campaign. Fast forward five months and our suspicions are confirmed. Photographed in full color (a Lagerfeld rarity), the Argentinian beauty looks terrific wearing Chanel’s Cruise 2017 collection and we’re just loving how everything turned out.

Forum members quickly made their feelings clear toward the campaign. “Very beautiful. They managed to capture the spirit of Cuba while shooting the whole thing in St. Tropez. Mica looks very beautiful and joyful. Carine [Roitfeld] did a good job here! That skirt..” cooed a more than appreciative Lola701.

“Stunning pictures!” heralded liberty33r1b.

“I love the mood and setting. Mica looks great,” added kokobombon.

Also quick to show their enthusiasm was anlabe32, commenting, “Love this!! I’m freezing right now and just looking at this makes me feel a little warmer. Gorgeous setting and Mica looks good.”

Riseup shared the same outlook on the campaign: “Stunning!! Karl’s been shooting some great campaigns lately.”

“Love it! The setting is perfect and Mica looks really good, it’s nice to see this warmer and softer side of her,” apple admired.

“I’m more glad to see the Cuba theme expanded in the campaign, but this could be Dubrovnik, or even any other coastal retreat. Mica looks good, the collection as cheap and boring as it did on the runway,” Benn98 stated, just as things began to head south.

“Would love to have that skirt in black, the rest is as boring as usual,” snarled Nymphaea.
