Romee Strijd’s Vogue Netherlands Cover Is Sheer Perfection

Not even fashion’s It girl Gigi Hadid could have saved Vogue Netherlands’ underwhelming May cover, but leave it to Romee Strijd to deliver a truly beautiful cover for the title’s June 2017 edition. Exactly thirteen months after her last cover, the current face of MICHEAL Michael Kors cozies up in a sweater at the beach just as the sun goes down, with photographer Jan Welters capturing the summery mood perfectly.

According to our forum members, Vogue Netherlands nailed it this month. “Oh, I like this cover, she reminds me of a mix between a young Heidi Klum and Cato Van Ee. The layout is cool too,” commented Bertrando3.

“LOVE this cover! Not trying too hard, she looks great and it’s perfect for June. I love most of Jan’s covers for them, wish he did more than only few a year!” exclaimed Miss Dalloway.

“Great casual cover, warm and comfortable,” Nymphaea approved.

Also left pleasantly surprised with the outcome was MON: “Stunning! Now this is a Vogue cover! Gorgeous. The layout was changed and I like it!”

AlbertNoir shared the same enthusiasm. “She looks really gorgeous! Vogue NL is rocking lately!” he declared in admiration.

“Looks good, I like it! I have been surprised by their covers this year,” stated a satisfied DutchHomme.

“Aw beautiful, finally Vogue NL got it right,” 333101 applauded.

“Perfection!” described an elated Benn98. “Perhaps even better than her first cover for them. The styling could have been slightly more summery though, this jumper (and her cozy pose) makes it look like it’s the last few days leading up to autumn,” he went on to add.
