Candice Swanepoel Looks ‘as Fierce as Ever’ Posing on Vogue Brazil’s Powerful November Cover

If there’s one thing about Vogue Brazil, it’s that it sure does love to champion homegrown talent. The magazine regularly celebrates Brazilian models like Isabeli Fontana, Gisele Bündchen, Alessandro Ambrosio and Lais Riberio. Mixing it up for November 2017, South African beauty Candice Swanepoel is the sizzling cover girl, shot on location in Rio de Janeiro by photographic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. Vamping it up, Candice flaunts her toned physique in the dramatic black and white cover image, with the sprawling Rio backdrop contributing to the shot.

Ultimately, the cover left our forums divided in their opinion. “I kinda like it. It’s eye-catching to me,” favored lelaid upon seeing the cover for the first time.

“Gorgeous! She shot this in March, only 5 months after giving birth to her son. But look at her, fierce as ever!” declared a more than impressed apple.

“I was about to say the same thing, she looks incredible,” responded forum member badgalcrush. “I do like this cover, pretty nice one from Vogue Brazil!”

Guimon praised, “Damn, that’s absolutely stunning! So sexy and striking. Nice to see something so different from VB! Way to go!”

“Yep this is an absolute winner. Love everything about it,” said happycanadian.

Not everyone was full of compliments, however. “I like that they tried something else, but the composition and image doesn’t work for a cover. Candice looks stiff, artificial, and I bet that thigh gap got the most Photoshop. Pass!” stated an underwhelmed Benn98.

“Can you imagine how nice this would have been in color, especially in the way M&M does it?” GERGIN pointed out.

“The hair bothers me, I wish she didn’t have a parting in the middle but instead just slicked back. The colors don’t go well with B&W either. But it’s good to see Candice,” voiced KateTheGreatest.
