Adwoa Aboah and Sara Sampaio Join Cate Blanchett as the Faces of Giorgio Armani’s New Fragrance

Ever since the 2013 debut of Giorgio Armani’s signature Sì fragrance, Cate Blanchett has been the face and embodiment of the scent. As Armani unveils the new Si Passione iteration of the fragrance franchise, models Adwoa Aboah and Sara Sampaio join Cate in the newly unveiled campaign (and practically steal Cate’s thunder). The three women were each photographed by Tom Munro against a vivid red studio backdrop, which complements the updated red-infused bottle for 2018.

Our forum members couldn’t wait to sound off on Armani’s latest signings. “I had to stare at Adwoa’s picture for 10 minutes trying to understand why they would use this as an ad for their product. It would never make me want to buy this perfume, in fact it would have the exact opposite effect,” said June immediately.

“Abwoa is a joke. Her photo looks like a meme,” added Nocturnal.

“I generally like Adwoa but her photo is pretty bad,” WIntergreen admitted.

Also not feeling Adwoa’s presence was woemwomen, writing, “Count me among those who don’t get Adwoa’s hype. At best, she’s a middling model, just kind of blah, meh, whatever. DNA should be congratulated for creating the illusion about her, I guess.”

Nomar wasn’t exactly jumping for joy either. “One of the most randoms casts I’ve ever seen and Adwoa really looks out of place here. Just Cate was fine to be honest,” he noted.

It soon became clear which of the three won over our forum members. “Sara is clearly the best fit for this, they only needed her,” littlekiki raved.

“Sara looks amazing, she could have done this herself,” CommanderTMugler agreed.

Echoing the exact same sentiments was john2elmejor: “Sara looks amazing! Love when she does high-fashion!”
