Letitia Wright Strikes a Pose on British ELLE’s November 2020 Cover

British ELLE‘s streak of terrific covers (featuring the likes of Claudia Schiffer and Margarita Gambles) came to an abrupt end following its decision to reprint a Dua Lipa shoot for August and last month’s shockingly bad Alicia Vikander offering. We are always in the mood for fresh faces on our favorite fashion glossies so we’re happy to see ELLE‘s latest go to none other than Letitia Wright. For the title’s November 2020 issue, the actress suits up in the opening look from Christian Dior’s Fall 2020 collection shot by photographer Marcin Kempski for both the newsstand cover (below) and the bold subscribers’ alternative (after the jump).

“This is not bad at all. Actually, quite good,” admitted mikel the moment the cover dropped.

“I really, really love it, this is so ELLE,” admired kokobombon.

“The cover and editorial are classic ELLE. It’s exactly like back in the height of their glory in the early 2000s,” added honeycombchild.

“I like it. Very chic! One of their better covers in a very long time,” echoed MON.

“This cover is a damn sight better than last month’s atrocious Alicia Vikander cover! You cannot go wrong with a simple white backdrop and a subject who photographs beautifully. I can also appreciate how bold and impactful the subscribers’ cover is!” praised vogue28.

But not everyone was on the same page. “Not a fan of it. They tried to turn her into Janelle Monáe circa 2010 with that styling,” critiqued Ken Doll Jenner.

“I got Janelle from this as well, but I don’t mind it!” replied aracic. “It’s a great cover.”
