Vogue Poland June 2021 : Ola Rudnicka by Kuba Ryniewicz

Ola Rudnicka Pays Homage to Paris on Vogue Poland’s June 2021 Cover

Poland definitely doesn’t receive the recognition it deserves. After its groundbreaking Anja Rubik cover along with the title’s recent Constance Jablonski offering, the magazine is certainly back on our radar. Models tend to land the cover of the Polish fashion bible so we aren’t surprised to see Ola Rudnicka fronting the June 2021 edition. The Polish beauty wears head to toe Chanel as she’s snapped on the streets of Paris by Kuba Ryniewicz.

The cover didn’t go down well with our forum members, however. “Massive ‘Paris Paris’ headline and two eye-catching bags full of bread…please. That’s simply hilarious,” stated aracic.

“It looks like a Polish woman escaping from a Parisian café with bags of stolen bread. Old bread,” added an obviously disappointed fangora.

“Something very unsettling about how she’s pointing her toe while carrying two bags of bread in the middle of an empty street,” noted RedSmokeRise.

Xone shared the same underwhelming sentiment: “She barely can hold those super BIG bags… I don’t mind if they want to pay tribute to another country, but do it with dignity!”

“This must’ve been an interesting brainstorming session at Vogue Poland’s headquarters…” WAVES pointed out.

“Awful cover, looks like bakery propaganda,” voiced a clearly annoyed VogueGirl8910.

“What a bad photo, wrong angle, terrible pose, embarrassing styling. Everything about it is so clueless,” Royal-Galliano chimed in.

Meanwhile FashionMuseDior simply described the outcome as “awkward.”
