Christian Dior Joaillerie F/W 2021.22 : Elizabeth Debicki by David Sims

Elizabeth Debicki Personifies Elegance and Grace as the Face of Christian Dior Joaillerie

Christian Dior certainly loves having brand ambassadors. The legendary French fashion house’s latest signing? Elizabeth Debicki joining Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Yara Shahidi and Anya Taylor-Joy. Debicki becomes the second face of Christian Dior Joaillerie alongside Cara Delevingne with the actress exuding elegance and grace before the lens of David Sims. In the minimalist and utterly chic campaign images, the Australian beauty wears Victoire de Castellane’s sublime new additions to the Rose Dior collection which pays homage to Christian Dior and his love of roses.

For the most part, members of our forums were impressed. “Gorgeous! This is exactly what Dior should look like! Elizabeth Debicki is perfect. I love the simplicity of this campaign,” raved Frederic01.

“I like the sense of simplicity also because when someone as beautiful and photogenic as Elizabeth Debicki is the subject, gimmicks and OTT beauty styling simply aren’t necessary. The photographs feel very regal, elegant and classy…” admired vogue28.

“So much better than Cara,” added GivenchyHomme.

“Not bad, but they could’ve done way more. Elizabeth is so effortlessly poised and elegant, like those bygone 50s couture-clad swans that Richard Avedon and Irving Penn would love to photograph,” Marc10 chimed in.

KINGofVERSAILLES wasn’t blown away, either. “Elizabeth is one of the most stunning women in film and she brings natural elegance and glamour here in spades, but she’s not being helped by the boring clothes, the boring hair, the no-makeup look…it’s just too simple.”

“White background? White table? It makes her look washed out,” proclaimed abstraccion.
