Millie Bobby Brown, Karlie Kloss and Lous and the Yakuza Star in Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2022 Eyewear Campaign

Louis Vuitton probably holds the title of the fashion label with the most brand ambassadors. After all, Nicolas Ghesquière has Léa Seydoux, Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, Naomi Osaka and HoYeon Jung on speed dial. The brand even recently welcomed Deepika Padukone as its first Indian brand ambassador. Millie Bobby Brown now makes her official debut as a friend of the French fashion house via its Spring 2022 eyewear campaign captured by Steven Meisel. The Stranger Things actress is joined by Karlie Kloss and Lous and the Yakuza in the ads that shine a spotlight on the brand’s Moon Cat Eye, Moon Square and Link Square frames.

Ultimately, the end result left members of our forums conflicted. “Cheap,” simply described avonlea002.

“Geez Millie looks like she’s at least in her 30s there,” noted Marc10.

“Millie Bobby Brown? How many ambassadors do they have at this point?” wondered HodanChloe.

“The images themselves feel flat, lifeless and completely devoid of energy — not to mention the random casting. They should’ve just had Millie Bobby Brown on her own given it’s her debut as a brand ambassador, but it’s Lous and the Yakuza who steals the show here!” voiced vogue28.

“Only Lous and the Yakuza looks good,” echoed velvetandsilk.

“Why is it so conservatively ugly? Such a waste,” phungnam96 pointed out.

But not everyone shared the same sentiment. “It’s all very appropriate for an eyewear campaign, nothing groundbreaking, but it does the job well enough,” reasoned aracic.

“I love it, very Meisel and very classic Vuitton…” admired Gonzalo.
