The Wanted: Song of Style Sweaters for eLUXE

You may recognize Song of Style as the must-read blog of Aimee Song, the California Internet It-Girl who throws together bold, but laid-back, everyday outfits and shows ultra-chic interior designs to boot. As the go-to fashion voice of the digital age, she garners a whopping 3.7 million hits a month and has built up a steady fan base of over a million Instagram followers. Now it’s with such success that it comes as no surprise that Canadian e-tailer eLUXE is merging Aimee's unique style with the season's hottest sweatshirt trend.

Dubbed Song of Style for eLUXE, the collaboration will result in a limited run, six-piece capsule collection of luxury T-shirts and sweatshirts available exclusively through this holiday season beginning December 4, 2013. Designed to be integrated and imagined by the wearer, the collection is both attainable and aspirational. A perfect cut tee and a sweatshirt in a classic crew or raw neck are available in chic dark storm and white, white and black or grey and black combinations. Priced from $40 to $90.

Needless to say, it’s Aimee’s trademark style to a T – that is, taking a simple piece and harmonizing it (the music puns are unavoidable I’m afraid) with your own personal quirk and style sensibilities.

"For this collaboration I really wanted to hone in on my approach to fashion and style with my ‘Do Epic Chic’ logo and my love for Los Angeles with the playful ‘VioLA,’” says Aimee. “The T-shirt and sweatshirt styles go perfectly with my effortless style of dressing and I'm excited to pair them with denim and sky-high heels this holiday. Working with eLUXE has been a great experience and I'm excited to share my designs with the Canadian market and beyond."

I’m super excited for this and also happy to hear that eLUXE is fusing fashion and culture with such a perfect capsule collection. The online retail powerhouse also claims that this collaboration marks the start of a series of capsule collections with notable fashion voices to be rolled out throughout 2014, so stay tuned for more info.
