Philip Sparks Spring/Summer 2014 Clothing and Eyewear

Crisp whites, full skirts, box fit smocks ($295) and 50s deco silk shirt ($495) dresses make for a vintage vibe in the women’s portion of the collection, while a dark khaki trench ($595) looks to be a big seller thanks to its dramatic back pleat and a structured, well-tailored shape.

It’s all very mid-century-housewife-welcoming-the-weekend, but adding that extra je ne sais quoi, the S/S14 getup also introduces Philip Sparks’ debut optical collection in collaboration with Jordan Paul from the Junction eyewear store Opticianado.

The fun-time sunnies retail for around $295 (not too shabby considering the Made-in-Toronto label) and come in a range of colours. You can snap them up at Sparks’ Ossington location, as well as on the website, which also features this summer’s full range of clothing.
