In preparation for the much-anticipated Ashish x Topshop high-street collaboration set to launch on May 29, we’ve been cyber stalking the Instagram account of @Ashish_UK in the hope of some sneak peeks of what’s to come, and we haven’t been disappointed, thanks to a succession of teaser posts.
For the little kid inside of us comes a fabulous range of staples which light up! Now, how much wear the average person will get out of these pieces is questionable, but we do like the fun idea of it. From rucksacks to light up platform trainers, it’s an easy way to infuse a little quirky cool into your #OOTDs.
A select number of his biggest celebrity fans have already got their hands on the collection before its official release, and have been posting their own Instagram snaps. Kitsch loving @KatyPerry opted for a pair of the light up platform trainers that could also soon be in your wardrobe too… though with a price of £350, it’s quite the investment!
Thankfully, not all of the collection will set you back quite so much, with prices starting from around £30 upwards. So, flashing pieces aside, what other key pieces can you expect? Well, true to Ashish form, there are a few provocative slogan pieces, and this time some have the added fun of filling in your own responses.
