These days, it’s pretty rare to see Taylor Swift in anything other than a candy-coloured, matchy-matchy ensemble. So, when the pop singer stepped out onto The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a black and pink floral print dress by Bec & Bridge, we were happy for two reasons. First, Taylor stepped away from her beloved crop and skirt combo, but most importantly, she turned to an Australian label to do so.
Teamed with black Prada platform pumps which showed off her insanely long pins, Taylor looked a little less cutesy and a lot more edgy than we’re used to. The getup still made way for Swifty to look adorable, though, with a sugary-pink lip, soft hairdo and girl-next-door smile.
It was definitely her better wardrobe choice for the night, compared to the geeky, layered ensemble she wore for a funny segment called Ew! with the host. Taylor played a Band-Aid-collecting, 13-year-old who manages to slip in a dig at Miley Cyrus.
